There's something to be said about picking up the phone these days. With all of the social media outlets, we're communicating more than ever, but when was the last time you had a conversation with someone that didn't involve a comment like, "oh, yeah, I saw that on your facebook" or some other social network? Maybe slowing down communication, and picking up the phone, even just for one day, wouldn't be so bad. Today, I'm going to resist the urge to check everyone that I love's social networks and just give them a call.
