It's Fun to do Bad Things

So on Sunday, my sister, boyfriend and I decided to break into dad's collection of homemade alcohol.

This stuff is so delicious and effective, you only have to take a sip or two before the laughter ensues...

Saturday Sisters

On Saturday, my sister and I spent the day at mom's pool. We hung out pretty much all weekend in the sun. I'm not sure my sister can go back up north after all of this nice weather we've been having. Her tan is ridiculous right now!

p.s. That is a bathing suit cover up, not a vintage one-piece. I wish.

Day Off

Today I had the day off, and my sister and cousin and I spent the day vintage shopping in Delray Beach, laying by the pool on the beach, sipping goose and lemonade's and laughing our asses off.

After of course, I took a nose dive into the shower door handle this morning.

Ouch.

Two of My Favorite People

My sister and my cousin, are two of my most favorite people in the whole wide world. My cousin is more like a sister than a cousin in fact, and my sister is just awesome - because she knows me thoroughly and we have a blast together.
I was just thinking about how when my sister's kids grow up, two girls, I hope that they have the bond that her and I have.

4th of July Weekend

It's fun hanging out with my sister. She always has so much energy. And of course, the best kids. Ever.

We had the best time lighting fireworks with the girls.

Play Time

On Friday morning, Boyfriend and I took a rode trip up to Orlando to see our nieces, sister, and cousins.

We got up there around 10AM, I braided the girl's hair, and then we headed straight to Wonderworks for some play time.

I'm SOOOOOOOOOO excited! My sister and my nieces are coming down in just a couple short weeks. I can't wait to give them the biggest hugs and kisses EVER. Nieces are the most amazing joy, and I am so lucky to have two beautiful, intelligent, and hilarious nieces. It's going to be awesome having them around for a whole month!!

Conference Call

Having a conference call with my sister and my mom last night was hysterical. We laughed until our cheeks hurt as we listened to niece make up songs she said she learned in Girl Scouts, and older niece fought off boredom from our conversation. I cannot say it enough how much I miss my sister and her kids...and I can hear it in my mom's voice how much she misses them too.
